Ramanujan's Infinity !!, By Sriram

Hi guys its very hard to start with something too technical .i,e we start with something like a differential eqn of Nth order .so I suggest we go up with something more physical and while understanding this phenomenon we will go through the mathematical part to bring it down an equn. So I have come up with something which was ramanujan’s question and I guess all of us know that he is pbsk’s idol. its quoted that in his class in some 4th order (I guess it should be roughly 4th std of their time) he was told by his teacher that if 3 bananas are given to 3 students then each student receives a banana .so to this ramnujan asks that if 0 bananas are given to 0 persons will each 1 will get 0 bananas .to this question I would like to ans this way.1stly our number system was developed basically by merchants from middle east and India (the number system we use is known as Hindu- Arabic number system)so its basically in relation to something physical i,e if I have 10 horses its worth 20 cows etc so its got nothing physically zero. I think this must be the apparent reason for zero to be invented latter then the other numbers .so the number system says that u have 0 cows means u have no cows again its physical .likewise if u say infinity its again in terms of physical quantity. So these two abstracts are highly impossible to be included in to our number system which has developed on the physical relationship. So the question of dividing 0/0 or infinity /infinity is a limit of this number system rather then calling it limits of abstract thinking of normal human being. So the question by itself is not going to be valid bcoz it doesn’t come into physical reference .so guys wat do u think. Someone contradicting my line of answer.

There is no question of contradiction on the lines you are telling ram, evolution of such a number system is obious since the need was just to keep track of things and 0 didn't have any relevance there.

coming back to the question of 0/0, again the answer in the physical sense is a ridicule and has only got relevance to the purists in mathematics and again to dwelve into this feild you should think beyond the number systems !!.

hay pbsk its very nice that atheory stated by me was excepted so very easly.now lets all become a purist in math

so to solve the problem of 0/0 i guess we need to see the way the 0 exists.for 0 to exist we need a negative number line to be in existance.and the negative number line means its a vector in physical terms.so -1 and +1 etc are just magnetudes in different direction.lets assume aproblem of velocity.velocity is distance covered over time taken.generally time is considred to be a sclar.but in this we consider it to be a vector.the problem is like this at a time zero the distance moved by the object is also zero.and at a time +1 secs the distance moved is +1m,like wise in time -1 i'e. 1 sec b4 ,the distance moved by the object is -1.at 0 time the distance becomes also 0 .they both becom a sclar at this point.so there we start the word limit ,as 0/0 velocity is not possible. if one has to solve this we have to change some of the basic mathematics rules like anything divided by 0 is not infinity .and anything multiplied by zero is not always zero.so if some one comes up with a rule which dose these in a logical way and has the stbility to stand and solve poblems then the entire concept of limit can be obsoleted.and i am very happy for ramanujan to have asked this question as this might be the question that lead to the invention of limits by newton.and it gev me a ic chance to reinvent it on my own and understand it more effeciently.so again any body to contradict the line iam talking in
